Archaeobootcamp 2024

  • Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area 600 County Highway 707 Jupiter, FL, 33469 United States (map)

Are you a college student interested in pursuing a career in archaeology? It’s time to apply for our ArchaeoBootcamp at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area! This three-day bootcamp provides its participants with experience in excavation, remote sensing technology like laser scanning and ground-penetrating radar (GPR), and educational talks about careers in archaeology and the history of the Jupiter Inlet!

This partnership between the Florida Public Archaeology Network and the Bureau of Land Management allows students to try their hand at a career in archaeology without the cost of a field school.

Email southeast@fpan.us for more details and to receive an application!

(This bootcamp does not provide the same credentials as our RPA-accredited field school at the Jupiter Lighthouse ONA.)
